Had appointment scheduled for months, less than a couple days before it they cancel because they do not accept my insurance. Why keep me on the schedule for so long and then last minute cancel? that should be figured out before giving someone the hopes of an appointment. also didn’t get a call or anything I only found out through the medical portal… so uncommunicative.
I am a former Barnes physician, and my wife received care here during her first pregnancy which ended in missed miscarriage at 8 weeks. Bedside manner from providers was most often poor, which compounded the trauma of this experience (we were even described passive aggressively in the medical record for apparently asking too many questions following the death of our first child). I couldn’t get into see my regular OBGYN at this practice, because she’s totally booked out through September! I knew I had my regular symptoms of a female infection, and I needed to be seen ASAP. I’ve battled this specific infection chronically ever since my total laparoscopic hysterectomy in 2022 @ age 38. I had to make 4 phone calls to the Nurse’s line just to get a bunch of lip service.
