The Barnes Emergency Department is pathetic! Expect to spend hours in the waiting room while suffering. My wife came in with a serious bowel blockage and they made her wait many hours while she shook in pain. I wouldn’t crawl into the place if I got hit by a car in front of the place. I would go somewhere else. Also, the waiting room has all the charm of a prison waiting room.
This place was horrible. The room smelled musty. The ac water was leaking on the floor. Flat twin mattress covered in plastic. Cheap thin sheets you had to make and unmake the bed yourself. Flat pillows. Very over priced and the staff very very rude!!! The good part was it was close to the hospital.
What happenend to the guards in the valet parking area cars come they don't pick up they don't drop off; they leave their cars empty, people playing loud music in their cars , people bothering you for money Please bring the guards back this is not safe at all...
