Walked into the Company Store on Maine Ave. SW in search of rigging parts for my 12’ Penguin sailing dinghy called OPUS. The store is well stocked & has a busy service department run by “Bob Stickell” who’s is the President & GM. The majority of the gear, parts, merchandise, & equipment are for powerboats & trailers. Could not find my split rings, but did find stainless fasteners. If you are visiting DC’s Wharf District, the store is a two minute walk from the bars & shops, & 100% well worth a visit.
Called to try and get a part. Part was in warehouse so wouldn’t get here in time. Asked for p/n so I could try to get locally and they wouldn’t give me the part number. Ridiculous! They will NEVER get any of my business!!!!!
A must. Beautiful way to see dc from a different perspective. On the water!
