This is my first time ever leaving a Google review, and I didn’t do so lightly. Washington Legal Group came highly recommended, which is why I decided to retain them for my divorce. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. After paying my retainer, communication was almost nonexistent. Shaun Bussert helped me through my divorce tremendously. He was always available and quick to return calls or emails. During the most tumultuous times he was there and willing to share legal expertise and advice that often really helped calm the situation. It was reassuring to have someone so knowledgeable on my side. Highly recommend Shaun.

I retained Washington Legal Group for an urgent family law matter requiring immediate action. Unfortunately, after only three days, I felt compelled to terminate representation and seek new counsel due to a lack of communication, lack of transparency, and little to no visible forward progress on the emergency filing that was discussed during the initial consultation. Shaun Bussert is the most rude, disrespectful, condescending, unhelpful attorney I've EVER spoken to! I did not hire Washington Legal Group and I never will. First they said their retainer was $5000 then after talking to Shaun Bussert they wanted to charge me $7000 because the court date was sooner than expected. He seems to care more about money than actually helping someone.
