Elegant The Washington Inn is a MUST for elegant dining in Cape May. There is no better restaurant in town. I had the Vegetarian Risotto and my boyfriend ordered the Shrimp Scallop with Crab. We also ordered the Dessert Sampler as there were just too many to chose from. The food was excellent. The atmosphere is romantic. They also have a very extensive wine list. Reservations are a must. Valet parking. Expensive.

I had a butternut squash risotto dish that melted in my mouth while my husband had tender, delicious filet mignon. Their wine list is incredibly extensive. The waiter was very attentive.
