Cowling Forgotten, Ductwork Still Missing, Extra Charges - Hyundai Kirkland replaced my engine under warranty but forgot to reinstall the engine cowling and air inlet ductwork, left the air intake housing and hoses unbolted, and has now refused to replace the missing ductwork. Scammed! DO NOT buy a used car from this dealer! I spent $12,000 for a 2017 Santa Fe that I had in my possession for 6 weeks and and it died. I'm told that there is nothing they can do to help me We apparently voided the warranty on a car that they didn't even have any service records on by trying to replace a sensor ourselves after the 40 day warranted expired They have had it in their possession for over 2 weeks and after all that time they tell me this. Seems fair. Right?Ā
A bizarre experience. A hapless salesperson and management with nonstop misinformation and hours of my time. I called ahead with the used car type I was looking for. Then onsite they couldnāt find the car. Theyāre building a new building, so most cars are in offsite lots miles away from dealership. Understandable, but why not tell me whatās going on? Great car experience the last few days. This is by far the easiest car purchase I have had (and I have had several) The atmosphere was not your typical high pressure push from the second you stopped your car but instead very laid back and welcoming.
