I really want to love this place as a local. Also, I never leave reviews but it's been pretty sad here. My last visit I ordered a well done burger and it was super rare. My medium loving husband wouldn't even touch it. I sent it back (not at all my vibe but it was really that bad) and I was comped a drink but by the time my burger was ready my husband and daughter were done. Really nice place, we were surprised by the tent area in the back, but it was pretty warm and comfortable, and had a really ambiance. The service was great and everyone was very attentive. They had a deal for 1 dollar oysters when we were there, and the rest of the food was pretty good too. Overall a cute place and I'm glad we gave it a try!
The service was on the point. The ambience was great. They could do a little better on the food; not to say it was not good but I just hoped for a bit more.
I had my birthday dinner at the Washington House after hearing great things about the restaurant. We were seated inside where the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. We ordered cocktails which were presented beautifully but very mediocre. Three of us ordered the filet tips with risotto. The meat was delicious but the meal was ruined by the undercooked risotto.
