Went in due to lower back pain. I understand they were busy during my visit. They took my x-ray, but I never saw the doctor. I did the usual intake process that is normally done. After about two hours and seeing people who came in after me with minor issues or on par, someone else came to get more information. It wasn't until after TWO HOURS that they even bothered to put me on the wait list to see a doctor! Even then I waited another two hours. Never got seen. Wouldn't send my worst enemy here.
This Hospital ER failed my husband. He was released when they were supposed to put him on a 24-48 hour mental health hold. He had been a missing person at this point. The released him in a psychosis state and he went right out into the parking lot and got into a strangers car and left. This is a very very short version of the story. They were told by police that he was in a agitated paranoid state when he was brought to the ER. My husband could be dead right now because this ER did not evaluate him properly.
I would not recommend this emergency room to an enemy ! I waited over six hours just for the doctor to be an absolute jerk and was unable to help with my issue! Never ever ever again. You have a better chance of traveling far out to another hospital than this one. They need changes here and better doctors. It is also not clean here at all, there needs to be better house keeping services
10 Stars!! My 6 year old son was seen in the Emergency department this past Saturday night. He was running and missed the sidewalk fell and hit his head and face…..hard!! I was so scared we rushed him to the ER where they took over and not only focused on my boy but took time to calm me down. They were so kind, compassionate, and exceptional at their jobs. Each person we came in contact with from signing in to being discharged was pleasant and knew their role. My boy is ok, thankfully. Kudos to you Washington Hospital!
Don’t go here. Came here at 6:30 on aThursday took 4 hours for them to take me back after taking people ahead of me even though I came in for a suspected kidney infection. Now I’ve been waiting in the bed for 3 hours. It’s ridiculous. They haven’t even ran any tests. Just drive to Pittsburgh or anywhere but here!!
