This hospital is defrauding their customers who don't know better. I came in for a foot laceration requiring 6 stitches, no further testing was necessary and it was obvious to everyone I just needed stitches. They originally billed me as a level 2 examination (simple matters) and half a year letter decided to upcode me to a level 4 examination (high risk or requiring complex evaluation), which obviously is not the case for a simple foot a lac. I had the opportunity to visit Washington Hospital with a friend while visiting his mom, and I was genuinely impressed. From the front desk and security staff to the nurses and doctors, everyone was kind, professional, and caring. My friend's mom also spoke very highly of the care she received, and we're grateful she made a quick recovery. It's reassuring to see a hospital with such compassionate and dedicated staff.
