Re: Surgery Based on my experience, the Bunion Surgery went well, but I deeply regret having The 2nd Toe Fusion. My ‘hammer toe’ never really bothered me before, but now it aches, and sticks up more than before. I should have said, No on the hammer toe surgery. I dont think I needed that much invasive surgery. I have a difficult time getting up From the floor, or doing floor exercises, since I am unable to bend the toe, w/o a knuckle. Plus wearing even closed toe shoes hurt. Plz think twice before having any toe surgery.
I appreciate services rendered, minus them selling us a boot and a misdiagnosis. We were told in office that as a cash payer, to expect to pay about 80 for the boot. We had a used item lined up to purchase, but decided to go with the one offered in office. Turns out they broker third party product, and 3 months later I got a bill for 326.60. They were great there. Dr. Chandra helped me greatly with my feet problems. She was very attentive and took great care of me.
Re: Surgery I had bunion surgery and I regret having the hammertoe surgery. The bunion surgery went well, but my hammer toe was fused and I am unable to bend it and it can be painful at times as it is turned. My toe has never been the same and I wish I never had gone thru with the surgery. I wish it was like it was before.
I highly recommend Dr. Corbin. The office staff was courteous and very helpful. Dr. Corbin took her time to explain my problem with ingrown toenails and kept me very informed as she did a procedure to alleviate my pain. I was very impressed that she called me the next day to see how I was doing. I was so grateful that I could go on my vacation pain free! Dr. Corbin will definitely be my choice for any future issues with my feet.
