They close at 5. Apparently the birth certificate printer turns off at 4. I walked in at 403 after driving close to an hour to get there
laws change requiring a new birth certificate even tho my mother and I have kept my original safe for 35 years. cost $25 I'm sorry it's one thing if I had lost my birth certificate but requiring me to pay $25 for them to print one out that took less than 2 minutes is ridiculous. they should give one for free since I needed it because of a new law.
I called to ask for my medical history and was told I needed to call back another day because it was too close to 5 o'clock and that's when they closed. When I finally did get someone on the phone and asked for my records they managed to give it to me in an envelope that had "make a copy for yourself" written on it. Sorry you actually had to do your job.
My son in law drove an hour there today to get a birth certificate - was there before 2pm - was told 'sorry we close at 2 and there is someone ahead of you in line. I can't help you.' What a joke.
