Really gone downhill I've used Centerville location a few times since they opened several years ago, but after this most recent visit I will not be back. When I arrived, several unleashed, soaking wet dogs were running free around the shop amidst puddles of urine and other mysterious liquids. There was dog hair plastered against the filthy floor. dog wash This place is great!!! You can either wash your dog or have them do it for you. I actually like to do it myself. This place is great because I have a Great Dane who is hard to wash inside in the winter. This is the perfect solution to my problem~take her here and get her washed and no mess in my house!!!
Skunked dog on a Sunday A special thanks to Wash Your Dog for being open everyday. Our black lab Rudy was sprayed by a skunk last Sunday and I had no idea what to do. I called Wash Your Dog and they let us come in right away, they did the "odor control" thing on him and it really worked.
Wash Your Dog is not the best Went to the Springbobo location. Hard to get up to the tub because of the lip around it, had to bend into the tub. Rinse and dryer extremely forceful, too much for a smaller dog and not adjustable. 4 dogs running around, hard to get in the door. Floor very wet from mopping and no grooming tables available and had to ask for brushes and combs. Not a pleasant experience. Will go elsewhere next time. Willing to pay a bit more for better facilities.
Be Careful With This Groomer I wanted to give this local business a try so I took my Beagle/Schnauzer mix (Schneagle) over for a bath and grooming session. My instructions were to give the dog a Schnauzer trim and call me on my cell phone or home phone is there were any questions. When I went back two hours later I discovered that my dog had been completely shaved of his beard, whiskers and eye brows. Who enjoyed this more, me or my dog? This is a great place. I had my Golden Retriever groomed by a great groomer. My dog has always been nervous about baths or hair cuts, but now she loves going. Wash Your Dog set up an appointment for her so she didn't have to sit in a cage all day. The place is very clean and the staff is super friendly!! Thanks for a great job. PROS: I can watch them groom my dog if I want to. Very nice, dog-loving staff CONS: None
