Longtime knitter Margaux Kelleher moved to Park City with the desire to share her passion for knitting and fine yarns with other locals. She realized her dream to be a business owner and opened Wasatch & Wool in 2014 at the Redstone shopping center. I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of this store, both the human kind and and the wool kind. I am a new knitter, and walked with no knitting notions, but the excellent instruction, warm encouragement and abundant knowledge of all of the staff quickly made the store my second home :) Though I am not well versed in other places, it is obvious that this one is a place unrivaled in the yarn selection as well as the generous and inviting community.

Visited this LYS while hiking through Utah Was awesome- helpful owner, great selection - love the local yarn from the West - which is what I was shopping for. I could have spent hours there - well I did spend almost an hour and went home to NY with a suitcase full of amazing yarn! Highly recommend 🐑

Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Beautiful yarn selection and lots of sample projects. Really enjoyed hanging out with fellow knitters on the open knit night.
