I liked the expression that said something like: it's time we realize that we need to help our warriors fight what is within, not just enemies without.
I love this organization. It brings me so much joy to volunteer my time for such a great cause. My dad was a WW11 vet and had PTSD and night terrors. Unfortunately back then they did not recognize the disorder. My dad always surrounded himself with dogs. I know it helped him. I am volunteering my time honoring our service members and my dad. xox
I watched the segment this morning on NBC4 DC. What a beautiful program. I can easily understand how these beautiful dogs can be such an important aid to our emotional and physically wounded war heroes! Thank you Warrior Canine Connection for YOUR service!!
