I’m relieved that Buchalter is retiring and hopefully leaving the medical profession. After four visits—each lasting only 2–3 minutes—and a massive medical bill, he informed me he was retiring. He never took the time to explain my hearing or MRI results. It was information he could have easily given me over the phone: yes, I’ve lost hearing, and yes, my MRI looks fine. There were no next steps or recommendations—just “come back in a year and repeat.” I would stay away from this practice.
I took my 77-year-old mother to see Dr. Warren Buchalter, and the experience was extremely upsetting. During the examination, he handled her head and neck with what I felt was unnecessary roughness for someone her age. Even after I asked him to be more gentle, he continued in the same manner, which left both of us distressed and alarmed. The doctor is extremely kind and listened to all of my concerns. He was understanding and thorough and I will continue to see him for all of my questions and nose related issues. Highly recommend the practice and the doctor!
I will not visit again. I felt rushed and like I was wasting his time or my problem was no big deal to him. Will be switching ENT offices immediately.
