They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed. They explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. I have been a patient of Dr. Finkelstein's for 35 years. When I was 23 years old I became very ill, and the many doctors I visited could not diagnose my illness. I was told it was either a stomach "bug" or the flu, but each day I became more sick until I was hospitalized on Christmas Day. Despite undergoing emergency surgery the doctors still couldn't determine the nature of my illness. Dr. Finkelstein heard of my case and diagnosed me promptly as having Crohn's Disease. Dr. Finklestein is a fantastic physician. His passion for his branch of medicine shines through in the care and compassion he extends to his patients. I have recommended him to anyone I meet who suffers, as I do, from inflammatory bowel disease. When you are in an emergency, he sees you almost at once. No waiting in pain. His is open to his patient's concerns about treatment options and works with them to tailor the best possible outcomes. If you are looking for a GI, do yourself a favor and visit his practice.
I've been going to Dr. Finkelstein for over 10 years. He is very caring and empathetic. He is knowledgable and I has kept my condition under control.
