I have a special needs child who has extreme sensory issues (which I explained to both the receptionist and the doctor). When he is receiving any sort of treatment or services, you have to just do it. Yes he will cry and shout. Most doctors and other businesses are understanding of this, and work with the circumstances. My son's new Dr said he would refuse to do the checkup unless my son agreed. Um.. what? Which translates to, I'm not going to work with your screaming child. I was there for an hour and a half because he woul... read more

I loved going here when Jill Gordon was seeing patients. The new doctor, Dr. Merkand, has made me lose all faith in Primary Care. It took him 2 weeks to call in medicine for a yeast infection. I took my one and a half year old Sun down to the clinic in Warren to get a check-up because he had a really high fever of 103 and a nasty cough and every time he sneezed he held his ear. The doctor came in looked at Troy didn't even look down his throat looked in his ears and he said that he was perfectly fine and then he walked out he didn't tell me what to give him what they keep giving him nothing FYI the doctor name was Lonnie. So I wasn't happy with that answer because when I got home my son still held his ear so I too... read more

I am so thankful to new doc at Warren Community Health center. He saved my kidneys. I was given blood pressure medicine by nurse practitoners before him for long time which caused serious damage to my kidneys without even knowing. This new doc was the first one who advised me to stop that particular medicine. I initially did not agree with his assessment based on mixed reviews on web. However, I did decide to check with kidney specialist (Nephrologist) and the specialist immediately stopped the medicine. I recommend my frien... read more
