I had the pleasure of partaking in a bourbon tasting today. It was an eye opening experience and a great first trip to the store. I'm sure I will return with many more customers who should meet Gene to gain some of the volumes of knowledge he has to share.
I had the opportunity to visit the store on recommendation from a friend. The bourbon selection and staff were awesome. They really rolled the red carpet out for me, setting up a great tasting of their barrel picks after a brief conversation about my preferences. I highly recommend it if you're a whiskey fanatic like myself.
This is a must visit location if you find yourself in the South Loop. Great selection and friendly and very knowledgeable staff.
We had the opportunity to visit when in Chicago a few weeks ago. Gene is fantastic, knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great time chatting and sampling some excellent drams and found some beautiful bottles to bring home. We will be visiting every trip going forward!

Good selection with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Not much more to ask for. It's been awhile since I've been in but they used to carry the aged Tullamore Dew which is a real treat and isn't much more than the orig (+/- $5).
