Not a bad place to sharpen a knife, considering they’re the only ones in town offering the service. The customer service is direct and satisfactory, though not particularly warm or enthusiastic. I do believe they want the best for customers. Happen to catch the lady who was quite nice in terms of service but I can see how others might feel offended by her. Not very helpful customer service from the lady at reception when I asked for suggestions regarding knife sharpeners. Take your business elsewhere.
Dropped off 2 of my shears couple of weeks ago and tbhl dad been a bit slack in looking after them and they were badly rusted. Got them back today and the have done a beautiful job sharpening and really cleaning/polishing them. I think when you buy good quality tools it's great to find someone who cares about restoring them perfectly.... $40 each is money well spent. Thank you.... l'll try and look after them a lot better now
If the negative reviews are about the same lady who assisted me the other day, I really don’t get it. I’m new to the country, and I felt very comfortable talking to her. She was friendly and gave me many helpful tips on how to get around the city. She was one of the people responsible for making me feel welcome in Hobart. She also gave me great advice when I was buying scissors there.
