Dr Ward is the most thorough and compassionate eye doctor, as are the rest of her staff. Just make your follow up appointment as you leave your appointment so that you get in to see her again!
Dr Ward is amazingly thorough. As good as my Ophthalmologist hands down. Explains everything very well also. The only two downsides are takes months for appointments and none of her staff have a clue how to fit and adjust glasses after repeated tries.
I have been visiting Eye Doctors since I was 5 years old. I am now 64 Dr Ward communicates better than any other Doctor I have visited. She also gives the most thorough eye ecams I have ever experienced. I know that my eyes are in the best of hands.
I am somewhat disturbed. I have been a patient of Ward and Portillo close to twenty years. I called today (November 1 at)to make an appt and was told that the soonest would be February 23 of 2022. How horrible. I guess they don’t need to keep their old patients.
I have high myopia and other vision issues. Dr. Ward gave me the most comprehensive eye exam I've ever had, and adjusted my prescription so I see better at night. She is warm and personable too. The best!
Dr. and staff are all very personable. The doctor is very thorough with the eye exam. When I had questions regarding my diagnosis, she clearly explained (using a model of the eye) the physical changes occurring with my eyes.
Very organized and detailed. Found cataracts and directed me to a surgeon. Did the procedure and ordered minor glasses going forward which came in in less than 2 wks. The staff is excellent.
