Not good got infection after going to her.
Faxed referral as they requested...they lost it. Went in person to office a few days before appointment and they scanned it. Went to appointment and was then told the referral could not be accepted b/c some information they required was missing. No faith in a Dr. whose staff cannot get it together.
I have called the office more than 5 times to say that the medication was not working and not once did I receive a response---still waiting to hear from her.
Ask my insurance what dermo. takes my insurance. They sent me to Dr. Ward. Made an appointment on June 17th for July 17 at 1:50. Spent over two hours driving to get there with kids in the car. Told me when I arrived that I didn't have an appointment, that they do not take my insurance and that "anyway, we don't take new patients”. Oh, but they did have a file on me and a record of me calling to make the appointment but now, somehow I do not have an appointment. What a bunch of liars. Dr. Ward has been my dermatologist for over 5years for my psoriasis.. I very pleased with her work. My skin never look so smooth and good. Thanks to her I can wear my skirts n show my legs. A great doctor..
I like Dr. Ward ALOT! She is VERY nice. However, I had a major problem that she saw me for for over 2 years that just kept getting worse & worse but every appointment, she just said, let's wait, let's wait. Then she FINALLY refereed me to a specialist. Wished she would have referred me MUCH MUCH sooner! You also have to wait FOREVER for an appointment which is bad when you have an urgent problem.
I saw Dr. Ward due to itching bumps that were appearing on my skin. After waiting 15-20 min for her, she came in & asked me 2-3 questions and concluded I was bitten by and had bed bugs. She only spent 5-7 minutes with me then prescribed a cream. I knew I did not have bed bugs. I went to another dr (who wasnt even a dermatologist) she stated my issue was something completely different, and certainly not bed bugs. What an awful thing to be told by a "Doctor".
