I’ve been shopping with Warby Parker for several years across a few different states, and I was extremely impressed by the Naperville location. My past in-store experiences have sometimes felt a bit awkward, which I didn't mind too much since I only go in once a year, but the team in Naperville completely changed my in-store experience . They were so friendly, genuinely welcoming, and gave honest, amazing recommendations on how different frames looked on my boyfriend who was the most indecisive lol. Great and friendly start
Go in for glasses/ contacts. Glasses go fine, contacts never arrive for "fitting". Follow up, end up in an endless loop of remote customer service who have no phone numbers to just ask the branch. They submit a ticket, then begins a round of generic emails, random calls, etc. vs giving me my contact prescription to order elsewhere. Modern brand positionining with creepy outsourced customer service that seems to not even know what the product is.
The service at this location is good in general. But as soon as you leave the store, you cannot resolve any issues. If the contact lense sample didn’t fit you and were informed to come back and exchange to different one, you have to book a new appt and pay for another exam to come in for a follow up. You cannot reach anyone at the location. You can only reach customer service at the call center who cannot help with your issue. I highly do not recommend this place or Warby Parker in general.
