My husband saw Dr Andy on 7/10 and was sent home with no antibiotics and told to put Voltaren on his elbow that had bursitis. 3 days later after i finally convinced my husband to go to the walk in centre we were told to go directly to the ER as his elbow was quite clearly infected. He was admitted to hospital for 4 days and had IV antibiotics every 6 hours. It is hard enough to get my husband to go to the doctor and for this very reason that it was a waste of time and money.
