Poor experience Dr. Doby does not have the skills necessary to build rapport with children. At our first appointment, immediately after she took us into the treatment room, she took no time to talk, ask questions and connect with my child or myself. She cracked no jokes, as most pediatric dentists do, and had a generally stern and impatient demeanor. Mr.W I think NIck H means "rude" a "rood" is something you would find in a church. Dr. Doby is one of the few dentists in Charlotte who is qualified to have hospital operating room privileges. This makes her pretty impressive in my book. I can understand her getting exasperated with some parents. Some have little concern for their child's teeth, don't take their children for checkups on a regular basis, don't insist on teeth brushing, push gallons of sugary sodas down their mouths which starts the rot. AWFUL I think she's so unprofessional and rood,plus all the people that she has as a dental assistance are uneducated people,people with no degree or credential to perform that type of job,also she discriminates people with medicaid,please don't ever go to see this woman,she only do her job for the money not because she likes kids,I wish sanitation would come to her place to see how she keeps her medical tools,I'm sure no parent would like to see that. Please don't waste your money or time going there,SHE'S AWFUL.
Dr. Doby is the pediatric dentist to go with! My children have been going here for a few months now and they are not scared of her. She is the best dentist I have ever taken my kids too. She has a very calm and loving bedside manner. I would recommend her to everyone. She is even good with my three year old who can be quite a handful!!!! She really cares about children and it is not just about the money for her!
wonderful experience Dr Doby was my daughter first dentist at the age of 3. She had a very positive experience and even though she had to have a filling she still doesn't fear the dentist.
