Wonderful food every time!!!!! – My wife and i eat there occasionally and often comment that we should return more frequently since the food is fabulous and the atmosphere is authentic, quiet, and inviting. In my opinion the food there is the best Chinese that we have found in the greater Charlotte area!!!!!
Family restaurant Family restaurant – Not a good place to go for a date with your husband. It's not a romantic place and the music was awful. The food was ok.
Family restaurant part 2 – From the outside d??cor it looked really inviting and authentic. The entrance bar reminded me of a sports bar with T.V. The ladies bathroom was filthy and in very poor condition. The menu was plentiful and the manager likes to help you decide what to eat. The food was ok. The service pleasant. Would not rush back here
Worst Service - Uncaring staff, not Kid- Friendly! – We went to Wan Fu on Mother's day. We were 11 in all with 6 kids ages 4 to 7. While the restaurant eagerly sat us upstairs and took our orders initially (7pm), it was almost an 1.5 hr before we even saw any appetizers brought to the table(8:30pm). no value or respect for customers – We also visited Wan Fu on Mother's Day. We called to make a reservation and they said they could seat us around 7p. When we got there, there was a bit of a wait. We were seated and we promptly ordered appetizers and kids meals. About 15 minutes later, we ordered our main dishes. Around 8:00p we flagged a waiter and inquired about the food and were told that they would bring everything together. Best Food Ever!!!!! – The customer service is exceptional, and the food is excellent. It's very pretty inside too. If you haven't been before, you should go. You will be impressed for sure.
The better chinese restaurant – We discovered this place "accidentally" - and are lucky about that. The whole stuff is very friendly and they do a really good job. The food is delicious, very nice and showy prepared - and you don't have to wait too long. The wines are very good and served with the right temperature. It's not the cheapest restaurant in town, but it's worth it. For example: 1 appetizer, 3 Entrees, 2 softdrinks, 2 red wine, 3 cakes and tip made 100$. I definitley do recommend this restaurant!
Warm and authentic, this place has offered some of Charlotte's best Chinese since before Chinese "cuisine" became cool. – The Scene The outside of the white-and-green pagoda-style building rising off of Highway 51 is guarded by statues of Chinese-style lions. Charlotte's Best Authentic Chinese – Wan Fu is the real deal. Although Charlotte has the trendy chinese bistros (some of which are owned by Wan Fu), Wan Fu offers better food, that is more authentic, for a reasonable price. Although the place is not cheap, it's not overly expensive and you get what you pay for with the large portions. Service is always top notch, and the presentation is wonderful.
