This man helped save me. When I started receiving treatment from Dr. Walzer, I was more than just a mess. I was in early recovery from addiction and I didn’t think I would ever get to experience a normal level of peace and happiness ever again. He was my dr years ago, early 1990 ish. Absolutely horrible. Cold, nasty, misdiagnosed me , prescribed wrong meds for me that caused me to have a debilitating car accident, had me committed to the institute at pa hospital, I can’t say enough bad things about him. And he had the nerve to try and sue my parents for non payment after all the torment he caused, after I skipped an appointment. Thankfully my life changed for the better after I left him and found new drs.
He’s been my p-doc for 7 years after a referral from a respected Penn p-doc. He’s the only doctor that actually looked at my illness from an outside perspective and treated me accordingly. He’s a kind, patient practitioner and I’m lucky to have found him.
Dr. Walzer was the best thing that happened to my life. I was misdiagnosed for years. It was terrible and I lost years of my life to this disease. Dr. Walzer diagnosed me correctly immediately and started me on medications that have changed my life. If your looking for the fluff of a counselor he might not be the one. If your looking for an expert on mental health and medication he is it. Im thankful to him everyday
