My fiance and I are first time bike shopper's. We went to Walt's at a friend's recommendation and were very pleased with the service. They asked what we were looking for and what our goals were with biking. They sized us, explained everything to us, and I never once felt like we were being pressured to buy anything. Recommended5 out of 5 Stars to the Service Department at Walt's Bike Shop! Needed to make some adaptations to one bike and therefore pull another bike out of the cobwebs. Mark & Josh listened to our different needs, the kind of riding I do, made good recommendations, and respected my budget. My 'Orange Peel' now gives me the exact riding performance I was wanting for my fitness rides. Looking forward to many twilight rides with the white tail out on the trail!
As a pretty new cyclist I wasn’t quite sure what to look for in bikes. The staff at Walt’s were very friendly and knowledgeable and helped me find the perfect bike for my height and riding needs. I also love their service guarantee. So glad that I made the decision to go to Walt’s!
Took my commuter in for a tune up about 6 months ago - the bike was returned to me with the disc brakes rubbing and the IGH very noisy in 4th, 5th, and 6th gears. Decided to give Walt's another try, dropped my wheelset off to be trued...the front wheel is still noticeably out of true. I just wasted $30 to do as good a job as I could have done myself with a $0.99 spoke wrench using the brake pads as a guide. I'm not returning and not recommending anyone have their bikes serviced at Walt's.

Best bike shop ever! Everyone is always so kind and helpful. They never make me feel foolish for any of the questions I ask and I know I can depend on them to point me in the direction of the equipment that will be best for me. So happy we have Walt’s in Columbia!
