RecommendedFriendly and knowledgeable staff with exceptional service.
I was the only customer in the shop with 3 employees standing behind the counter this morning. Was legitimately looking to purchase a road bike. No one said a word to me or made any effort to help as I stood by the road bikes for 5 minutes. Just disappointing. 2 thumbs down.

This whole pandemic thing is pretty gnarly. I’m a gym rat and realized I can’t go months without getting into the gym, and I’m not a runner. I’ve always been into biking and have owned a bike since before I can remember. I called up Walt’s on a whim because I was hoping to trade in two pretty expensive bikes for one all around great bike (a salsa gravel bike). Walt's always provides friendly knowledgeable service. They have done a great job of putting procedures in place to safely serve the community during COVID-19. I needed a new bike rack and they were able to consult with me over the phone and help me identify a product the met my needs. When I picked up the new rack they were very diligent in following distancing protocols, but still took the time to demonstrate how to install and use my new bike rack.

I highly recommend Walt's Bike shop because of their excellent customer service and their wonderful commitment to making Columbia a better place for all. I brought my bike in for a new tire and Mark noticed my rear brake pads and break needed replacing. He searched for and found the part needed off another bike (my bike is >40yo and there were no new brakes that would have fit) and he replaced it as soon as he found it at no charge!
