The first time I brought my car to Walter it was for a code reading on a check engine light on my Corolla. The reading showed it was for a mass air flow sensor malfunction. Walter merely removed the sensor and polished it with steel wool. He said that corrosion sometimes caused a malfunction. Worked like a charm, and Walter did not even want to charge me! Any other mechanic would have replaced the part. Walter knows what he is doing with cars, and is completely honest, as Zach says.
Walter has worked on my personal vehicles for 6+ years now. He is always straight forward and honest with the issues with my vehicles, even if it costs him more work. He would rather not replace an entire part if he thinks he can repair it. He truly an HONEST mechanic, which is not the easiest thing to find.
