I have known Dr. Whang for years. He helped me with self injury and suicidal thoughts and being inpatient many times. He also was the one who has done the ECT for a long time now too, but he has never given up on me and he treats me with respect and honesty. He works WITH me on my recovery journey, and doesn’t act as if he has all the answers and if I don’t like it too bad. He truly cares about his patients, but be warned it can be hard to be seen and apt wait times are long but worth it when your name is called.
I have seen many psychiatrists in my life. Dr. Whang is number one. He treats me as an individual and my life is worth living because I am lucky enough to have him as my doctor.
Over prescribes doesn’t have good treatment plans
I was very impressed with how quickly, yet thoughtfully Dr. Whang was able to assess my situation/personality and provide the much needed care. He is easy to talk to, a good listener, and appears to truly care about people. Simply put, he is a GOOD doctor.
Dr. Whang is the most reliable, hard-working, understanding, and genuinely interested in my quality of life more than any doctor, or any person that I had or have in my life. While our relationship has had to grow to this level over the past nine years he has taken care of my psychological issues, he has proven to be a very intelligent, trustworthy, and reliable human. He is certainly not out for money, prestige, or some other motive. Not to mention he is extremely good looking! That Helps!
