I was brought to the hospital because I told my doctor that I was mixing alcohol with pills and hoping I would die. I was being treated for PTSD symptoms, he recommended I stop taking a medicine that was helping me and take duloxetine, a medicine that is known to cause severe liver damage when mixed with alcohol.
