This place is border line condemned. Bed bugs and mice rule this place. Staff ignores clients complaints about it. It's not right. This is serious and I feel this place needs to be investigated.

I work for a couple of sober houses in New Haven and I occasionally recieve applications from Walter Brooks house for a bed. Every time I call looking for one of the applicants I get some rude person telling me that there is no one around. I have asked for staff members every time also and am told they aren't there. I think they are sitting by the phone waitning for there girlfriends to call and they tell everyone else that no one is around so they won't miss their call. They are very unprofessional. Ik have called on numerous occasions and left messages for a person to call me back and they hsave never received the messages. Now what if the messeages weree of an urgent matter. there is nothin but yellin anhd screamin in the background from the staff. This is the wr9ong place to go.

My son was here, andwhat a nightmare for him. No professionalism at all! There was no organization and the meals were pathetic. A couple days a week they serve chili over frenchfries for dinner. He told me that the meals that are served have no nutritional value.Thank God for family and sweetheart that bring in good food for him. Another thing is that the staff is constantly talking [yelling] over the speaker system and really saying nothing important most of the time.
