I had a helicopter crash in 2006. Broke my neck and ruptured disc in lower back. All the ER physicians in Alabama and north Florida, where the crash happened, recommended Dr. Walsh due to me being in great shape and a chance at full recovery. ABSOLUTELY right! I returned to flight status 20 months later and retired in 2016. I am now a building inspector in Florida and have zero deficits. I climb, jump and run daily. An absolute blessing to have had Dr. Walsh's care.

He is a very skilled Orthopedic Surgeon and is probably THE best in Columbus, GA. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Walsh based on his skill level. Mine and Dr. Walsh's personality did not compliment one another. Even though I may never go back to him, one thing's for sure, he knows his stuff.

Dr. Walsh performed surgery to repair a ruptured disc in 2003 in my cervical spine. The surgery was a complete success and recovery time was minimal. In April of 2018 I had arm/hand pain and numbness. Dr. Walsh operated and did a fusion on C 5-6. Pain and numbness were gone immediately after surgery. No pain medication was needed. Recovery has been complete and activity back to normal. I highly recommend Dr. Walsh, and will definitely use him in the future if needed.

This was my first time meeting Dr. Walsh. He was very nice and took the time to listen. I like him and his manner. I will refer others.

Hello I usually don't do this but today 05/29/18 I visited this officeMind you I had an injury that occurred to my back in 2017. I have a MRI done that states I have a herniated disc in my l4 and l5 with thecal sac impingement with some formaian stenosis. I'm not a radiologist and I can't do my own report but basically this Dr. Said nothing wrong. I've been on an types of medicine two nerve blocks therapy but I'm still bad pain constantly. He was in the 10 min and said it will wear off.

Dr. Walsh performed my lower back surgery in November 2017. I am still under his care and would recommend him to anyone having back issues. He takes the time to explain procedures and us always patient and considerate.

I saw Dr Walsh in January 2017 for constant back pain even after having several epidurals in March 2017 Dr Walsh took time to show me details of my MRI and we agreed On a plan. In July I was sent to Physical Therapy in preparation for a L4-L5 fusion . Dr Walsh was patient, answered all my questions and calmed my fears Dr Walsh and his PA was always available before and after my surgery. I am now 3 months post op and will continue to see him for the rest of my life for my back issues

I had L5-S1 surgery with Dr Walsh in 2011. I was satisfied with his surgical skill. My only issue with him at that time was a lack of “friendliness”. He wasn’t rude, just distant. I am now facing C5-6-7 fusion in the next month. Although this is a much more involved surgery, I am confident in his surgical skill, and in my last few visits with him he has displayed much more personality. Although skill trumps personality any day, it’s nice to finally see the real person behind the scalpel.
