Walmer Air Conditioning & Heating Co. was founded by Frank C. Walmer in July 1st 1988. A veteran and Pensacola native, Frank went on to serve in the Vietnam war and the Baltimore police department. After working for Smith plumbing for a few years he decided to go on business for himself. Loaded with energy, integrity and good ethics he successfully ran the company for 29 years.

I had Walmer install my HVAC system 6+ years ago. No problems at all with the unit and they had the best price. Recently, the house was struck by lightning and the HVAC along with the water heater, internet modems and other electronics were fried. They were able to analyze the HVAC boards down to the specific shorts (wouldn't want to insert a new board and risk frying it until it was properly diagnosed). They are very capable and actually charged me less than initially estimated. Very good company.
HVAC unit outside did not turn on. Made an appt w/ Steve on the phone and said he would send a tech today or else he will come check it himself. 30 minutes later,Hayden, Technician, called and said he add a rescheduled appt from this morning and would be by in 10 min. He replaced a bad capacitor on the outside unit & it started back up… Woohoo!!! He checked everything else that needed to be done so that all is now working great n our home is cooling again!!! If you think all HVAC companies are overpriced robots with clipboards, let me introduce you to Walmer HVAC — the actual heroes of Pensacola. When my pool heater started leaking, I was quoted over $5,000 by a company that shall not be named (rhymes with "Pleadin' for your wallet"). Walmer? They did the exact same job — part replacement, refrigerant, labor — for $920. Yes, you read that right. Four. Times. Less. I called because I needed service on our A/C, And the person I spoke with was very rude. I explained what I needed and the representative said; "Ok?... Well what do you want me to do about it?"
