Dr Blanton wasted my time and money... I knew the prescription didn't look right when I left his office, he swapped my right eye prescription for the left and vice versa and even after telling him I cant see things 10 feet away gave me a prescription with no accommodations for the nearsightedness. Not sure how he still has his license.
I should have first read these reviews before I went to the Rolla office. People here are correct on what they say about Matt Blanton. He's got some personality issues and a chip on his shoulder. Don't waste your time with him. I should have walked out. Try the other Dr. or go to a different Walmart.
Dr. Blanton was awful. As I sat in the exam chair he started in with what was the rudest, most condescending thing I have every experienced in a supposedly professional setting. I walked out of the eye exam after only a few minutes with him. Do not waste your time with him. The other staff were all very kind and helpful.
The Dr. Blanton was extremely irresponsible. My new glasses prescription is completely unsuitable for close-up work, and my vision is unbalanced between both eyes, impacting my daily work. However, the doctor refused to conduct a recheck or reconfirm the prescription. This was a very poor experience! On the positive side, the staff were very polite.
