Making the appointment at the first of the year was easy. The optometrist changed the type of contact I use but didn't give me a sample, stating they had to be ordered as they were special -astigmatism multifocal. I waited 6 weeks for a phone call to come in and try on the samples. Mind you, my old Rx had expired and I was using my last pair. I went in to get new lenses for my glasses. The guy said they don’t pop out lenses in order to tell me what frames I could get. I moved here from out of state, and they never popped out my lenses to tell me what frames fit my glasses. I don’t think he is knowledgeable at all. He did not seem to know what frames fit my glasses just by looking at them. The walmart vision, in the state I moved here from, was able to tell me right away and give me all my options.
Not what I expected. The room where you do your eye exam was not clean the table had not been wiped down was very dusty. The dr not what I was expected. But the eye center was great
I don't know why, but for some reason this eyeglass store never adjusts glasses to your face. The ear piece need to be bent so they don't fall off.. and other things too that seem like they dont know what they're doing or they just dont care. 🤷♀️ But the staff is friendly. Cheap is the place to be if you don't care about service, I guess.
Buyer beware. I went in and had an eye exam done next door. Went back over to the vision center to order my glasses. I specifically told the woman that I needed Varilux x lenses. Questioned her two or three times about being able to order those specific lenses. She said absolutely they could get me those lenses. Placed my order spent over $600 waited 2 weeks and got my glasses in. Picked them up and knew immediately that they were not what I requested. Tried them out for a few days and couldn't wear them.
