I called the Walmart Pharmacy in Paris today to check on the status of a prescription, and the interaction was honestly unacceptable. The person who answered the phone was extremely rude from the beginning. When I asked if my prescription could be ready today, she said yes and then proceeded to hang up on me. No goodbye, no confirmation that we were finished, just disconnected the call. Takes days to get prescriptions filled, and when you try to speak to an actual person, most often, phone just rings and rings. Never had these many issues with other pharmacies like I do with Walmart in Paris, TX.
Called 4 times, listened to the recording 4 times, stated 2 times to speak to a tech, when finally someone answered, I stated I was checking to see after 5 hours if an insulin script was ready....only to be hung up on. Not to take up space here about other scripts that weren't ready after 6 hrs of being called in, if it weren't for the prices....I'd go elsewhere......
They wait to even get your medicine ready, my son’s prescription was called in the previous day at 330. I didn’t even go straight to get it cause I knew it wouldn’t be ready so I go at noon the next day to wait in line for 30 minutes for them to tell me it’ll be 30 minutes it’s not ready. Dumb you gotta go up there to get your medicine for them to even have it ready and wait around for an hour
Rude pharmacists that want to play 20 questions every time I have a prescription filled. I'm not sure why they can't take notes in the system so I have to do this each time. I don't know what's so hard to understand about my living on one side of the state border, but working on the other. But it's a huge inconvenience to get a notification that says my prescription is ready, only to find out when I get there that they didn't actually process it yet because they hadn't played 20 questions with me again.
