Used to be good; Now it’s pretty bad. Automated phone cuts out making it necessary to call in person. I’m put on hold until call drops. Employees have become curt and quick to give misinformation. I’ve transferred to the Walmart on SR 54 in Wesley Chapel. So far the difference is like night and day.
Update Mar 2026: Had a script called in for amoxicillin...very common antibiotic. Went to pick it up, and I was pressed for time, the desk person (same one as below from a month ago unfortunately) says "you need to talk to the pharmacist". Yes, I was angry and I made it clear how stupid this "policy" was. If this was a controlled substance that I had never had before, or a script for any drug they did not show I had taken before, then maybe I can see it...but a mild antibiotic? How stupid can they be! Worst I’ve ever experienced. Automated phone system doesn’t function properly, forcing customers to call pharmacy staff. Staff puts customers on hold and eventually the automated phone system drops the call.
Called on hold 30 minutes. I hung up thinking maybe a problem. Called back again and on hold for 40 minutes and at 6:58 they picked up and hung up. Terrible service
On hold for 30 minutes and they hung up. Happens every month. Maybe Publix has some customer service.
