My wife took our car to get the oil changed and was told it would be done in time for her to pick up our kids from school an hour and a half later. What actually happened was that they didn't have the filter they needed and proceeded to not tell my wife anything so she wasted over an hour and a half of her time before it started getting too close for comfort and she went over and they told her the above. I was never informed that my oil change was canceled due to them not having the filter. I checked after an hour and a half and they said I should've gotten a text. The only text I had was the initial check-in text. I was even updating the app to follow along. Such an absolute waste of time. I should've paid attention to the reviews.
I set an oil change appt a week ahead of time, got reminders up through the morning of. When I showed up for the appt nobody was at the desk, waited for 5 minutes when someone walked by asking if they could help. When I said I had an appt they said their technicians didn't come in to work so if have to reschedule. I get that employees not showing up happens, but I still got reminders the morning of, and when I showed it was basically good luck with that. Giving 5 stars to Amanda and Nick for customer service. Auto center stripped my oil drain plug a few months back and when i called yesterday they gave me no hassle at all to resolve the situation. Paid for it to get fixed same day. Thank you both!
