Very disappointing experience at the Walmart Tire Center in Fort union I arrived at 8:30 AM with 2Mercedes wheels and new tires, expecting what should have been a fairly straightforward tire installation. Nearly three hours later, the job still wasn’t completed, and I was told they were having issues with their machine and could not install the low-profile tires. This place is trash! Went for a small leak in our tire and they said it was a quick fix or patch job. The next day the tire was flat again, took it back and they said it was fixed again and same day flat tire! Went to Discount Tire and the found a nail in the tire and that is why we had the issue. I definitely do not recommend this place. The staff was nice.
Nick is an absolute gem. This was my FOURTH Walmart trying to get an oil change and tires sorted out, and I finally lucked into someone who immediately understood the issue and actually helped me solve it. Instead of just selling me the tires I walked in asking for, Nick took the time to ask what kind of driving I do, where I drive, and what I actually needed. NICK IS THE GOAT! ⭐️ I can’t say enough good things about Nick and the team. Nick was able to get me in the same day for a nail in my tire and went above and beyond to help me understand and sort out all of my warranty information. He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely such a great person to talk to. This place fails and drops the ball constantly. Customer service is subpar at best, most the technicians are poor at their job and have excuses for everything, don’t bother asking questions, they do not know what they’re doing. Went in for a tire rotation and they cross thread the lugz. Walmart needs to revamp their auto center with training and increase salary to attract real talent and experience. But in all honesty it’s children working on your vehicle, none of them look older then 21. You get what you pay for I guess
