Disappointing Experience at Walmart Auto Center – Peoria, IL Visited the Auto Center at 8915 N Allen Rd, Peoria, IL, to address a very slow leak in a tire that was still holding pressure and in overall good condition, with only a small nail puncture visible. The technician claimed there were 3–4 leaks and stated the tire couldn’t be repaired. This seemed questionable given the nature of the damage. Came to Walmart to get a battery replaced. I was within warranty and the battery was replaced last year. I almost left because they were so busy until an associate by the name of Joe (Service Manager) greeted me. Got me in pretty quick. He was very nice. At checkout, Jacob helped me. He found the technicians ended up charging my battery, instead of me having to get a replacement and possibly spending more money on a battery. He was very nice also.
