The atmosphere feels cheapened by the sale of "Wally's" merchandise. The bar feels more like a Wally's gift shop than an actual bar. It's a commercialized version of a place that once helped form cultural roots for the mills 50 bar scene over several decades.

Most Orlando icons have Big Ears, Jumping Fish, Roller Coasters and Magic Wands! Tonight was the reopening of the Orlando Institution know as Wally’s Mills Avenue Liquor. This 64 year old Drinking Spot has been closed for the last 10 months and today opened back up! Great Old Bar alive again with Craft Cocktails, Traditional Stiff Drinks, Beer and Package Store! The Tradition continues.. Cheers to the “New” Wally’s !

Wally’s will always be my favorite bar in Orlando 💜 it was my first “go to”, my first dive where I was on a first name basis with the bartenders, my favorite place to stop for a drink any time of the day. I would bring everyone here. 10/10 #saveWallys 😭
