I am extremely disappointed and honestly shocked by the level of dismissiveness and lack of medical curiosity shown by this doctor. I called on behalf of my mother to request a CT scan to rule out May-Thurner syndrome and related iliac vein compression issues—a reasonable and standard diagnostic step. He flat-out refused, stating it “wasn’t a problem,” despite the fact that I personally had this exact condition and required surgery for it.
