My 87 yo mother who is on top of her game went there as her Subaru was not always starting and it appeared the connect cable was not always ‘connecting’ she went there and they told her, need new battery cable which required a whole new piece for $660. She called me to pick her up. I told her to get her car and I would take to my fabulous mechanic Superior Auto to check it out. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. Me and my dad went to buy my daughter her first car. I found a car online that my daughter loved. We went down test drove it and decided we wanted to get it. The salesman said he had been there 3-4 years it as actuall a fast process. Me and my dad signed together on the loan and the salesman told my dad if he wanted to come back later on the same day with his other car and get another car they could use me as a referral and I could get $100. Unprofessional service center. We were given incorrect information about a needed repair by our “advisor”. We asked at the time if she had confused our vehicle with another and she never answered. Second check at another shop confirmed no such issue. Reviewing the printed report provided by Wallace, we noticed it makes no note of the issue. We have reached out two times to management and had no response. Curious now if they are complacent and interested in knowing if others have encountered similar experiences here too.
Last week my wife Patty and I bought a new car at Wallace Subaru of Johnson City. The entire process was great due to Holly McIntyre. She was knowledgeable, personable and very helpful. We were treated fairly and with respect. The manager Travis was very nice and the whole process was pleasurable. Would highly recommend this dealership.
