The cleaning lady knocked on my door at 10:45am When I left the room it was exactly 10:55am, she started yelling at me to tell me that check in was at 11:00. Exactly, I respected the rules so why be aggressive ?
Charming and cozy, this inn is my go to for any visiting relatives who want to experience NYC in a historic district near locals, not a glass tower in midtown. Great prices and courteous staff. I love it!
There's a particular receptionist here with an accent that has a nasty attitude. When I requested help from her and was very dismissive and condescending to me. Otherwise, the hotel is ok.
The hotel is located in a quiet street close to Wall Street and the ferries to Liberty Island. Employees were friendly and useful. This is really a very good value for money hotel I highly recommend it
The location is great, within a 10 minute walking distance from most train stations, and the rooms are very reasonable for the price. If you are planning to come here just to stay the night and will be out to explore the city, then this is a great budget friendly hotel to book. The rooms do have a great central cooling system, blackout curtains, and are greatly sound proofed, which are pluses!
