They are blocking the green way in Roanoke, no care for the community.
Walker Machine & Foundry Corporation should not back off after years of providing jobs to the Roanoke valley for almost a century. Sorry that the poster "Ulltron" feels this is 'not caring for the community'. The Walker Foundry has been part of the city's boom time and deserves some respect. Check out the image of Bethlehem Steel's abandoned 'brown field site' (btw, taxpayers foot the bill usually 80% while investors walk away with dividends) which is now lovingly referred to as The Stacks that shares green space and serves ... read more
