The team is amazing. Everyone is on top of appointments and feel like we got the best care. One thing we don’t like is all the smokers in front of the building in the no smoking area. You get a cloud of smoke on the way in for treatment….
I have my sister in the hospital and I live in the States. I’ve called repeatedly to get an update on her condition ( she has cancer) and the first call I waited 20 minutes on hold, then finally hung up! Second call, I waited 30 minutes on hold with NO ONE answering! I asked to speak with her doctor or nurse, and no one responded! That is absolute deplorable for a hospital to make family members wait that long and still get no results. I had called yesterday and had no problem to talk to her nurse. I moved to Niagara Falls just over a year ago. I love the entire team st Walker's. From Dr. Bisson and all the nurses and staff on the oncology floor. Dr. Conen in pain management. Dr. Hillock in Radiation and Angel in Social. I am so impressed how they all communicate together. I mentioned in passing to Dr. Bisson about disability tax credits, and next thing Angel calls me and gets me set up for disability pension. She did so much work on it. Just amazing. And so helpful. Angel Graham the social worker was a complete joke. Did she get her degree in social work from a crackerjack box? I love my team, from my doctor (Dr Bisson ROCKS!) to my radiation doctor, Dr Cuthbert (fantastic!) to the techs, receptionists, and of course nurses (phenomenal) i interact with all the time. Angel treated me in a disrespectful, rude, demeaning, and condescending fashion. She’s the worst social worker I have ever interacted with.
