I was referred to Dr. Walker for depression. He listened to me and made adjustments to medications based on my needs and his expertise. Upon each return visit, he listens and makes necessary adjustments while trying to find the best combination of meds that help me. He is far more knowledgeable than any doctor I’ve seen. He is highly intelligent but still verifies his knowledge before prescribing medications to prevent interactions as well as the least side effects for me. The one star is solely for his cat and parrot. DO NOT go to this man if you’re autistic or have suspicions, he doesn’t even think sensory processing disorder is real. You won’t get to get a word in about anything, he’ll take the very first sentence and write a script for you based on it, so if you do see him be sure to know what you want your first sentence to be. Dr. Walker misdiagnosed my wife as bi-polar. He then prescribed multiple drugs that caused her to have a series of psychotic breaks. Even after being told what was happening, he insisted that his diagnosis was correct. She now sees a different psychologist and is being successfully treated for uni-polar depression with a single medication. Dr. Walker's incompetence nearly drove my wife to suicide.
Completely incompetent, Warning do not use this Dr. he has no concern for the wellbeing of new patients. I was looking for simple continuity of care and this dR would not prescribe any of the medications I have taken for 7-10 years, in so doing leaving me in a place where i would run out of my medication and if that happened as happened in the past i would suffer seizures and possibly death. He uses a website and only Doctors as that website indicates. He also insulted me repetitively
Dr Walker is kind and compassionate to his patients.He is excellent with medication management.Very knowledgeable.
