RecommendedI just had surgery on the 27th. Had to stay overnight and the care I received was the best. From check in Thursday morning to my discharge Friday afternoon I can’t say enough good things about my nurses and support staff. I am so thankful that I can drive 10 miles down the road instead of driving to Birmingham for general surgery. Dr. Ike Baker is by far the best in my opinion.
This place has 152 lawsuits against it. don't get me started on er, I wouldn't go there to die. the dietary department is not a place to work they wont even protect their employees. I feel sorry for those who think that they don't deserve better. Demand better!!!!

Didn’t pay attention to what I was telling them and put down the wrong symptoms on my records they didn’t mention I was throwing up blood....they stated I just started doing this today when I’ve been throwing up daily for years. they stated they checked my breathing, ears, eyes, throat etc. and never checked any of that....
Can’t say enough great things about the care my father received this week. He had every treatment he needed. Could not have gotten better care from everyone. The doctors, nurses, techs, lab, X-ray, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, even the chaplain came by. He felt taken care in all aspects of his care. Thank you so much!
I have been sitting here since 11:40 am it is now 5:42 and the staff can’t seem to figure out how to stabilize an arm at the elbow of my elderly mother and I asked to see x-rays and they have yet to show them to us they have 0 bedside manners
Some of the staff really nees more training. There's only two doctors I care to see and the rest can go to h***.
I was in the ER the other night, And was treated like I was nothing. The so called Dr. and Nurse I guess cause I was overweight. They thought I was useless. Only time I will EVER go to Walker Baptist, Is if I am bleeding out. They need to train their people better.
yesterday I had to take my 9 month old son to the ER and walker Baptist was the closest one to us at that time.. he was having an allergic reaction they got him back and got him some meds we spent maybe an hour and a half here that was the best and fastest er visit I have ever had to do. the staff was friendly they had a male nurse his name was Chad he went out of his way to play with my baby boy and to make sure I was ok as well most definitely would recommend this hospital
