I always book a room here for my family when they come visit me. They really like their service and the price is cheaper than other places too.
Worst place on Hollywood beach – This place it THE WORST!!! it was not very clean.. the tiki bar maid was slower than a turtle to get us drinks & the little maid girl was not helpful at all to get me towels & such. as a matter of fact she was downright RUDE!!!! telling me she had other things to do & would get them later. The beach was great & all of my dining experiences thruout Hollywood was so nice. But I would never stay here again.
Wonderful Stay! Will definitely return!! – My family and I vacationed at the Walkabout for the 4th of July. We simply had an outstanding time. The rooms are gorgeous and have delightful views of the beach. I was amazed at this place! The staff was very friendly and we loved the tiki bar! I would highly recommend staying here on your next trip to Hollywood Beach
Unique hotel on Hollywood Beach!! – This place is absolutely amazing!!! Probably the most beautiful and clean hotel I ever stayed at! This place is located directly on beach and has outstanding views from the rooms! I highly recommend. Staff was very accommodating and the tiki bar out front had a great vide and awesome drinks! Definitely returning!

Absolutely memorable! – Our stay this past week was a complete joy. The Walk About Beach Resort was our favorite part of our Florida trip. My friends found this hotel online and were quickly convinced it was a good choice for us...we were looking for a small low key, unique beachfront property. Lovely Boutique Resort – I can say enough about this place! Where to begin....the staff was great very accomodating in every way. We were greeted by the manager (Tamara) who by the way has a very cool 3 legged Beagle who will melt your heart. She gave us the low down on the area everything is within walking distance. Hippist joint in Hollywoood – You never know what you're going to get when looking for places through the internet. The Walk About Resort and Tiki Bar is exactly what you see on the websight and MORE! The staff is incredible, more than accommodating in every aspect of our stay. Unforgettable and Unique – I've never written a review but thought this unique Boutique Resort needed a honorable mention. We had originally planned to stay at the Marriot next door which is nice and situated next door to the Walk About. In fact we thought it was the same place. We wondered over to the Walk About and the sign on the office door reads "if not in office head out to the Tiki Bar.
